Sitaare Zameen Par: In a recent interview, Aamir Khan shared exciting details about the much-anticipated sequel to his 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par. The actor revealed that the new film, titled Sitaare Zameen Par, takes the themes of its predecessor to new heights.
Taare Zameen Par, which starred Darsheel Safary as Ishaan, had a profound emotional impact on audiences, addressing the challenges faced by children with learning disabilities. Now, Sitaare Zameen Par, according to Aamir Khan, takes a different approach. He described it as a humorous film, contrasting with the emotional tone of the original.

When asked about the film, Aamir said, “Well, it’s a beautiful story. Actually, the easiest way I can describe it is that, Taare Zameen Par is a very emotional film which makes you cry. Sitaare Zameen Par makes you laugh, it’s a humorous film. The theme is similar, of people with different abilities, different intelligence, or with different challenges. But, it’s humour as opposed to emotions.” Aamir also highlighted that the sequel goes even further in exploring these themes. “In many ways, I feel Sitaare Zameen Par is ahead of Taare Zameen Par because, in the first film, Ishaan, the character with the challenge, was helped by my character. In Sitaare Zameen Par, it’s the ten individuals with challenges who help me, the supposedly ‘normal’ person. It goes much deeper,” he added. The actor expressed hope that the film will resonate with audiences as deeply as its predecessor.
