Days after the tragic event, Allu Arjun shared a 3-minute-47-second video on social media, where he spoke about the incident. Calling the turnout at the theatre “unexpected,” the actor expressed his sorrow and revealed he learned about the fan’s death the next day.
He also announced a compensation of ₹25 lakh for the family of the deceased. In the video, he said: “From my side, I want to donate ₹25 lakh as a gesture to show I am there for you, especially for the children.”

While many fans appreciated Allu Arjun’s gesture, others criticized the way he addressed the situation.
