Anupam Mittal, Founder and CEO of Shaadi.com – People Group, and Aman Gupta, Co-Founder and CMO of boAt, who are also judging the show, had an argument in the newest episode of business reality show Shark Tank India 2. (boastful person). Aman and Peyush Bansal made the founders of the EEG headband a lucrative investment offer of Rs 1 crore for 5.4 equity, which did not sit well with Anupam.
The sharks or judges were impressed by the founders’ business idea of the EEG (electroencephalogram, which records brain activity) headband, a machine that captures a person’s brain activity, stress level, mood, and focus, and Namita Thapar said: “I’d like to make you an offer. Rs 1 crore for 6.66% equity.”
Bhavya and Ria requested a Rs 1 crore investment in exchange for 2% equity. Anupam, on the other hand, slammed Namita’s investment offer, saying: “I’ve made you an offer to invest in your company and help it grow. And their offer is to invest in your company in order to grow their own.” Finally, Aman met with Peyush Bansal and made an offer of Rs 1 crore for 5.4 percent.
“These are all ‘fekuchand,’ and there is no need to listen to them,” Anupam said. Bhavya and Ria accepted the offer. ‘Shark Tank India 2‘ is judged by Peyush Bansal (Founder and CEO of Lenskart.com), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (Co-Founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), and Amit Jain, in addition to Anupam and Aman (CEO and Co-founder of CarDekho Group and InsuranceDekho.com).
