Baba Siddique Murder: In a shocking incident, Baba Siddique, the former Maharashtra minister and prominent NCP leader, who was also vividly famous for his Iftar parties was brutally murdered on the night of October 12 amidst Dussehra celebration. The politician was shot 4 times in the chest after which he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital. Unfortunately, Siddique succumbed to his injuries hours later. The 3 fireman were later confirmed as the member of the notorious Bishnoi gang.

A week after the murder, police found a startling discovery—photos of Zeeshan Siddique, Baba Siddique’s son, on the phone of one of the arrested suspects. The presence of this photo later confirmed that accuser had done recce of Baba Siddiqui’s house and office premises and were in Mumbai for one and a half to two months and were keeping an eye on him.
Amid these developments, tensions are rising in Bollywood, as Salman Khan remains a prime target of the Bishnoi gang. The gang, which has been after the superstar for some time due to an old feud, renewed its threats after Baba Siddique’s murder. The connection between Siddique’s death and Khan comes from their longstanding friendship; Siddique, known for his famous Iftar parties, often hosted Salman Khan, making this development all the more concerning. A threatening message demanding Rs 5 crore from the superstar has further escalated concerns for his safety.

In another twist, head constable Shyam Sonawane, who was assigned to provide security to Siddique, has been suspended for negligence. Zeeshan Siddique has expressed frustration over the police’s inaction before the incident, demanding justice for his father’s death.
An arrested shooter from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed that Siddique was “not a good man,” alleging his involvement with India’s most-wanted criminal, Dawood Ibrahim. These accusations, although unproven, have cast a shadow over Siddique’s legacy.
