Lively-Baldoni Legal Case: The Hollywood drama between actor-director Justin Baldoni and actress Blake Lively is intensifying, with netizens dubbing their legal battle “worse than Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard.” On December 31, Baldoni filed a staggering $250 million libel lawsuit against The New York Times, claiming the publication falsely accused him of orchestrating a smear campaign and sexually harassing his It Ends with Us co-star, Lively. As fresh allegations surface, social media has become a battleground of opinions, with one comment summing it up: “This Justin-Blake drama in a reminder-never clear your chat history.” Also Read | Tom Cruise’s Alleged Girlfriend Maha Dakhil Is ‘Happily Married’
Baldoni Brings Receipts in $250 Million Lawsuit
The crux of Baldoni’s case lies in the text messages he submitted to refute the allegations. One cited message reportedly shows Baldoni texting his PR team: “How can we say somehow that we are not doing any of this-it looks like we are trying to take her down.” Another text included in the lawsuit has Baldoni’s team clarifying that the negative publicity about Lively “happened organically because people saw the actual movie and were like, wait…..This movie is about domestic violence, and they wore florals too.”

The director’s frustration over the accusations of a smear campaign is evident in additional texts: “We had NOTHING to do with that” and “This is crazy. She doesn’t have a good reputation. All of this is organic stuff from real people making TikToks-not bots.”
Intimacy Coordinator & Breastfeeding Trailer Drama
A major point in the case is the involvement of an intimacy coordinator. Lively alleged that intimate scenes weren’t discussed with her beforehand, but Baldoni produced texts showing the coordinator was hired, and Lively delayed meeting her, texting: “I feel good. I can meet her when we start. Thank you though!”
Blake Lively is an overrated hollyweirdo whose relevance would have long died out if her husband wasn’t Ryan Reynolds. Justin Baldoni’s lawsuit shows just how disgusting she is. pic.twitter.com/AJfGLg4pUn

Additionally, Lively claimed Baldoni entered her trailer uninvited while she was breastfeeding, but Baldoni’s text show her inviting him, saying: “I’m pumping breast milk in my trailer. Come by if you want to discuss lines.” Fans quickly reacted, with one tweeting, “Blake Lively did not want to meet the intimacy coordinator. This man came with receipts and is willing to go to trial.”
Ok I have to admit it seems like a good case for Baldoni, He provided a lot of text evidence supporting his claims & it does seem (so far) Blake’s & NYT were being disingenuous.
But Probably more evidence will come out after the NYT or Blake’s team responds to this.
Let’s see. https://t.co/uChNReIu1i— SaraBlase (@blase_sara) January 1, 2025
The Verdict Awaits
With receipts, accusations, and public opinion spiraling into chaos, the Baldoni-lively sage is shaping up to be one of Hollywood’s most explosive legal dramas. As the trail looms, one lesson stands clear: Never clear your chat history.
