Actress Nimrat Kaur revealed that there was a time in her life when she experienced a lot of professional heartbreak and didn’t know when her next paycheque would arrive. Nimrat, who has appeared in films such as Airlift and Dasvi, admitted that success did not come easily to her and opened up about her rejections.
Nimrat told RJ Siddharth Kanan that the worst response for an actor, perhaps even worse than rejection, is radio silence. “It’s like a breakup without a text message.” It’s agonising. “The agony of not knowing whether you’re doing anything or not.” She stated that she does not contact the filmmakers by phone. “That would just make them uncomfortable,” she added. “It’s best not to inquire.”
Nimrat Kaur‘s experience trying to break into the Indian entertainment industry teaches us why perseverance is essential for success. If you are experiencing career ups and downs, experts advise you to stay positive and keep trying until you achieve your goal.
