Just before this pivotal meeting, Diljit wrapped up his highly successful Dil-Luminati India Tour, which concluded with a spectacular performance in Ludhiana on New Year’s Eve. The concert at Punjab Agriculture University marked the end of a two-month journey that started in New Delhi on October 26.
A Tribute to Manmohan Singh
Earlier, on Diljit dedicated his Guwahati concert to the late former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who passed away on December 26. In a heartfelt message on Instagram, Diljit spoke about Singh’s humility and strength. “Today’s Concert is dedicated to Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. DIL-LUMINATI TOUR Year 24,” he wrote. The singer also shared his thoughts on the simplicity of Singh’s life, recalling how the former Prime Minister never retaliated, even when others criticized him.
