Govinda Maharashtra Election 2024: Bollywood star Govinda, who recently recovered from an accidental gunshot injury to his leg, was spotted outside a polling booth in Mumbai on Wednesday as he cast his vote in the ongoing Maharashtra Assembly Elections. The actor, who has been keeping a low profile after his injury, made a rare public appearance, and several videos and pictures of the actor surfaced on social media.
In one video shared by a paparazzo, Govinda was seen stepping out of the polling booth with a slight limp. Despite his visible discomfort, the actor flashed his trademark smile and waved at the paparazzi. He also posed for a quick photo, proudly showing off his inked finger. Clad in a white shirt and matching pants, accessorized with sunglasses, Govinda looked as charming as ever.
When a paparazzo asked him if his leg was okay, the actor flashed a smile, nodded reassuringly, and said, “Sab accha hai (Everything is fine).” The actor, known for his playful sense of humor, also joked when the paparazzi called him by his nickname, Chi Chi. “Kaahe chichiya rahe ho?” (why are you chirping?), he quipped, keeping the mood light.
Recently, Govinda made headlines when he had to cut short a campaign trail in Jalgaon due to health issues. While campaigning for Mahayuti candidates in Muktainagar, Bodwad, Pachora, and Chopda, the actor abruptly halted his roadshow in Pachora after feeling unwell and returned to Mumbai to rest.
Govinda’s appearance at the polling booth has given fans a glimpse into his recovery, showing that the actor is in good spirits and back to his usual self after the challenging time.
