In a new interview, the 53-year-old actress discussed some of her experiences.
In a new interview with Allure, the actress revealed that, despite what people may think about her allegedly childless-by-choice lifestyle, she did try to have a baby several years ago but was unsuccessful.
“I’d say I was in my late 30s or early 40s when I went through really hard shit, and if I hadn’t gone through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be,” she told the magazine. “That’s why I’m grateful for all those petty things. Otherwise, I would have been stuck as this person who was afraid, nervous, and unsure of who they were “She went on. “And now I don’t give a fuck.”
Aniston went on to say something that many people have been speculating about for years. “I was trying to get pregnant,” Aniston explained. “The baby-making road was a difficult road for me.“
Jennifer Aniston revealed that she tried a variety of methods to help her get pregnant but had no success. “I was doing IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it,” the actress explained. “Everything I had was thrown at it. If someone had told me, ‘Freeze your eggs,’ I would have given anything. Make a good decision for yourself.’ You simply do not believe it. So here I am now. The ship has left port.”
Despite everything, she has “zero regrets” about her experiences. “I actually feel relieved now that there is no more ‘Can I? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe,'” she explained. “I no longer have to think about it.”
