Sudhanshu Mittal has been re-elected as the president of Kho Kho Federation of India (KKFI) while MS Tyagi has been selected as General Secretary in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of KKFI on 5th July here in New Delhi. As the Returning Officer (R.O. ), Rajesh Tandon, a former judge at the Uttarakhand High Court in Nainital, declared the election results. President Sudhanshu Mittal, General Secretary Mahender Singh Tyagi, and Treasurer Surendra Kumar Bhutiyani have all been declared unanimously elected. They have been chosen to serve as the KKFI’s new office holders from 2021 to 2025.
As he described the journey of Ultimate Kho Kho, Kho Federation of India President Sudhanshu Mittal got emotional. “What a day today a dream has come true. What started as a half-baked idea, in May of 2018, is today a reality. I miss my friend Amit Burman he would have been the happiest man because he was the one person who had great conviction about this league. As far as kho kho concerned it’s very proud day for us.”
Six teams will compete in exciting action beginning on August 14 in Pune for Ultimate Kho Kho 2022, which will climax on September 4 with the final match. On September 4, the competition’s finale will take place. With Sony Sports Network being the official broadcaster of the Ultimate Kho Kho Season 1, the exciting live action will be telecasted live in Hindi (SonyTEN 3), English (SonyTEN 1), Tamil and Telugu (SonyTEN 4) as well as on their OTT platform, SonyLIV.
