The Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua can speak to the fact that tough times breed tough individuals. Kolora Lomani, a New Zealand-based winger, says it was a difficult three months in camp with the team in Australia, with training intensifying every week. She claims that, despite the difficulty, she would do it all over again if given the chance.
“It was a tough few weeks of training, the girls really worked hard on and off the field but yes it was a great experience and I’ll do it again next year if given the chance.” said Lomani.
The players, according to Lomani, are expecting tougher days ahead, especially with the upcoming test match and the Women’s Rugby World Cup in October. Before Senirusi Seruvakula selects his final side for the World Cup in New Zealand, Fijiana has the Oceania and a planned Test match against Canada.
Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua prepares to face Moana Pasifika in an all-Pacific match on Saturday at 4.35 p.m.
