Kubbra Sait, best known for her role in the web series Sacred Game, recently published her book ‘Open Book: Not Quite a Memoir.’ She has made numerous shocking revelations about her life, the knowledge of which has surprised everyone.
She has revealed many things in this book, from confronting actual sexual abuse with herself to body shaming. In the book, she also discusses her unexpected pregnancy. In a section of her book, she revealed that she became pregnant after a One Night Stand in 2013, and that she needed to have an abortion. Her age was around 30 at the time. The actress revealed that she was on her way to Andaman at the time, where she got cozy with a friend after having a drink, just days after taking a pregnancy test and finding out it was positive. During an interview, Kubra stated, “When I became aware, I chose to have an early termination after a week.” It was not what I had expected, and I believe that as a person present at the time, I was unprepared for it, and I believe that I am still unprepared.”
“I don’t understand the pressure of getting married at 23 years old and then having a child at 30 years old; it’s a set rule,” Kubra said. I realised I wasn’t prepared, and I have no regrets about any decisions I’ve made in my life.”
Kubbra Sait‘s career in Bollywood began with Salman Khan‘s film Ready. She had a minor role in this film, but she went on to work in films such as Jawaani Jaaneman, Sultan, and City of Life, but the OTT series Sacred Games gave her a genuine personality and fame.
