Uganda will play Namibia in a three-match T20I series and two-match ODI series beginning on April 8, 2022, with the last ODI scheduled for April 13, 2022. The United Cricket Club Ground in Windhoek will host all of the matches.
In 2021, the two teams met for the first time, with Namibia sweeping Uganda 3-0. Craig Williams was the tournament’s leading run-scorer, with 95 runs in three games. He had a 31.67 batting average and a 143.94 strike rate Ben Shikongo took the most wickets in the series, with 5 wickets at an average of 9.60 in three games.
Namibia will be the favorites to win the series from the start. With the exception of all-rounder David Wiese, they will have a full-strength squad. Namibia has challenged strong teams on their home turf, and Uganda will have to be at their best to beat the hosts in the forthcoming Uganda Tour of Namibia.
