Combating Cyber Threats with Artificial Intelligence
Highlighting the dangers of cybercrimes, digital frauds, and deepfakes, PM Modi stressed the importance of turning these challenges into opportunities. He recommended that police leadership integrate Artificial Intelligence into their operations, combining it with the country’s aspirations for development to enhance security measures.
Expanding SMART Policing Across 100 Cities
PM Modi also praised the progress made in urban policing and recommended that initiatives be implemented in 100 cities nationwide. He reiterated the SMART policing model he introduced in 2014, which calls for systemic changes to make police forces Strict and Sensitive, Modern and Mobile, Alert and Accountable, Reliable and Responsive, Techno-savvy and Trained.
Successful Conference with Key Security Discussions
The three-day conference saw over 1,000 officers, including 250 senior police officials, both physically and virtually participating. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval were also present, contributing to discussions on national and international security challenges.
