Recently Thunder Cricket Academy announced the signing of star West Indian All rounder Deandra Dottin for this summer season. The allrounder arrived in Manchester a few years ago and will be available from the season’s first game in the upcoming Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy.
This competition is a 50 over game and it begins from July 3. Thunders played their first match against Northern Diamonds in the opening game of the tournament. Speaking about Dottins she was regarded as the “THE WORLD BOSS” after she became the first women batter to score a hundred in Women T20 game so far. Deandra Dottins have worked hard on her game and become a 3 dimensional player, where along with hard hitting she can contribute with the bowl as a decent medium pacer and and most importantly as a good fielder.
Talking about Deandra Dottins , she was born on Barbados Island in the Caribbean. She has successfully made over 250 appearances for West Indies women cricket and managed to score more than 5000 runs. Dottins is a well experienced cricketer when it comes to franchise cricket as well. She has played for 2 different teams in The Big Bash League and also played in Women T20 Challenge in India.

After signing for Thunder, Deandra Dottin commented: “I am really excited to be in Manchester and ready to play in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy for the first time with the Thunder”.
Dottins will be available for month of July for Thunder before she goes away to play for “The Hundred”.
