Ranbir Kapoor On Animal Park: Ranbir Kapoor recently spoke about the upcoming sequel to his 2023 film Animal, titled Animal Park. The actor revealed that the film’s director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has plans to create a trilogy for the Animal series. “Sandeep wants to make it over three parts. The second part is called Animal Park,” said Ranbir. He also mentioned that Vanga, whom he described as an “extremely original director,” is currently working on another project and expects Animal Park to begin filming in 2027. Exciting Dual Role for Ranbir
Ranbir shared his excitement about playing dual roles in the series, one as the antagonist and the other as the protagonist. “We have been sharing ideas from the first film itself on how he wants to take the story forward,” Ranbir said. He also compared the trilogy to Pushpa, which is also being developed as a three-part series. “It’s very exciting because now I get to play two characters,” Ranbir said, emphasizing the original vision of the director for Animal Park.
Ranbir’s Stance on Violence in Animal
In response to criticisms about the violent themes of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor acknowledged the concerns, saying, “I completely agree with your opinion. As an actor, it is our responsibility to bring movies which bring a positive change to society.” However, he also emphasized that exploring various genres and characters is an essential part of his career. “It’s very important that I also dabble in different genres and different characters and play varied roles,” he added.
