Rugby World Cup Fans Fine: A big news for all the Rugby World Cup Fans if you get too noisy and drunk in Marseille you can be fined up to €180 and €150 respectively.
As Stade Vélodrome is hosting England‘s opening match on Saturday against Argentina and Scotland will be hosting it’s first fixture against South Africa on Sunday Marseille will braced with more than 100,000 supporters across weekend and as a precaution they have introduced a fine system if anybody gets drunk or is being noisy they will be fined. To maintain the city’s order and no one should get disturbed. Sometimes fans get drunk and misbehave which is not right, these fines are introduced with a good intention.
A spokesperson told the Guardian that “England have played at Marseille in the Rugby World Cup 2007 and it’s a city with great history and heritage of Rugby. We will provide the supporters with great experience and will advise so that they can spend their weekend with the best. We hope they have a wonderful time.”
