Saif Ali Khan Case Crime Scene: Mumbai Police have revealed that they plan to recreate the crime scene of the attack on Saif Ali Khan at the actor’s Bandra residence as part of their meticulous investigation.
Crime Scene to be Revisited
An official confirmed on Sunday that the police will take the accused, named Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, to Saif’s home in the Satguru Sharan building during his five-day police custody. The recreation aims to shed light on the events leading to the attack. The accused, 30-year-old Bangladeshi man, arrested in the early hours from Thane’s Hiranandani Estate while allegedly planning to flee to his native village in Jhalokati, Bangladesh.

Details of the Crime
The horrifying incident occurred on January 16, when Shariful entered the actor’s apartment with the intent of theft. Using a pipe, he climbed from the eighth to the twelfth floor and slipped into the flat through a bathroom window. According to officials, “He then came out from the bathroom, where the actor’s staff spotted him, leading to the chain of events that culminated into the knife attack.”
Saif, 54, suffered stab wounds and underwent a five-hour surgery at Lilavati Hospital. His sister Soha Ali Khan, expressed gratitude during a recent event, saying, “We are happy that he is recovering well, and we are very thankful, and we feel very blessed and grateful that it wasn’t any worse. Thank you for all your wishes.”
Mumbai Police’s Investigation
The case has been registered under several sections of the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS). with multiple investigation teams piecing together the sequence of events. The accused’s arrest has brought some relief, but the road to justice remains long.
