Sikandar Before Release Deal: Salman Khan‘s upcoming film Sikandar which also features actress Rashmika Mandanna as lead role is all set to hit the theatres this Eid. The film reportedly has already pocketed around Rs. 165 crore with its non-theatrical rights. The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and he has managed to get a great deal for Sikandar. Sources have informed the portal that the digital, satellite and music rights for the film have been sold at whopping Rs 165 crore.
As per the report, the movie has already covered around 80% of its budget with its non-theatrical rights sale. Reportedly, the streaming rights have been sold to OTT giant Netflix for a base price of Rs 85 crore. The satellite rights have been acquired by Zee for Rs 50 crore while music rights are with Zee Music Company acquired at a price of Rs 30 crore. It is expected the Sikandar’s non-theatrical revenue will touch the mark of Rs 165 crore but it depends on the theatrical business. The film seems to have recovered the major chunk of its production cost.
However, it has also been noted that the production cost does not include Salman Khan’s fees. Fans also have high expectations from this blockbuster, as teaser says it all. Also, the star cast and producers also have confidence that the film will work and impress the viewers with their work.
