Palash Sen Slams Bollywood: Palash Sen is a very famous Indian singer of 90’s. He is also song writer, musician, composer, physician, director and actor. He is the founder of India’s rock/pop band named EUPHORIA. Euphoria’s first release was ‘Dhoom Pichuck Dhoom’ and received so much love and attention from audience. If you are 90’s kid then definitely you would enjoy on his hits.
While in an interview with news agency PTI, he mentioned that they never got support from Bollywood. “Bollywood has not helped us at all, there has been no support, and I would say this clearly. In fact, there were people inside Bollywood who would have liked us to have finished 20 years back, “he was quoted as saying. “So 25 years of Euphoria is 25 years of great happiness, struggles, ups and downs, fights, laughter, music – everything has gone without a plan. I am grateful to God, and people of this country to have never let us down and never given up on us. And I am grateful for that.”

He added, “There has been support from the media, event managers, artist managers and we survived 25 years because people called us to do gigs, because we are live concert artists. That’s been the whole journey. And if you would ask me to describe it in one word, I would say it has been euphoric.”

Earlier in an interview with Indian Express when Sen was asked what kept Euphoria alive and relevant all these years, he said, “We make a lot of music very often. It’s just that it doesn’t reach the people because it’s on our YouTube channel, which is completely independent. There’s no label backing it, and no sponsors. The reasons for our music not reaching people are many, of which primary is the fact that I had a huge fallout with one of the strongest people in the industry.”
Euphoria went on to become noted Indian band, with five hit studio albums, one compilation and seventeen music videos. Sen’s Bollywood debut came with Filhaal… (2002) directed by Meghna Gulzar, which also starred Tabu and Sushmita Sen. Sen has done multiple television appearances, most notably FameX (2006), Channel V Popstars, MTV Rock On (with Euphoria, 2008), MTV Unplugged (with Euphoria, 2011), NDTV Greenathon (with Euphoria, 2012)
