Govinda Varun Dhawan Comparisons: Many people know Sunita Ahuja, Govinda’s wife, for her humorous and easy going personality. In a recent interview, Sunita expressed her thoughts on the constant comparisons between her husband and actor Varun Dhawan. She also expressed confusion about why people make such comparisons and emphasized that even Varun might not appreciate them.

Sunita Questions the Comparisons
Sunita candidly addressed the issue, saying, “Bolte hain, compare karte hain, but kyu bolte hain mereko ye samajh me nahi aata hai. Usko bhi toh kharaab lagta hoga na k mujhey Salman (Khan) se compare karte hain, Chi-Chi bhaiya se karte hain, but I don’t understand karte kyun ho (People compare Varun to Govinda, but I don’t understand why they do so. He would also feel bad for being compared to Salman Khan and Chi-Chi bhaiya).”
She hinted that Varun has craved his own image in the industry, might now enjoy constantly being compared to Bollywood titans Govinda and Salman Khan.
Childhood Resemblance to Govinda
Reflecting on Varun’s connection to Govinda, Sunita added, “Jo aadmi bachpan se, dekh dekh ke… uske dad (David Dhawan) ki 17-18 pictures ki hai Govinda ne. Toh naturally thoda toh aa jaaega na. Bachpan se chulbula bacha tha vo (He has seen Govinda work with his dad in 17-18 movies. Naturally, a little resemblance might be there. Since childhood, Varun has been a happy-go-lucky child).”
Sunita pointed out that Govinda’s long-standing collaboration with Varun’s father, filmmaker David Dhawan, may have influenced Varun’s mannerisms, leading to an inevitable touch of resemblance.
