Swara Bhasker, a Hindi film actor. She is most renowned for her starring roles in independent films and supporting parts in mainstream blockbusters. With a supporting role in the 2009 drama Madholal Keep Walking, Bhaskar made her film debut. She became well-known for playing a bride-to-be in a minor part in the critically acclaimed romantic comedy Tanu Weds Manu (2011).
When Bhaskar was asked about a paid promotion during an interview, her response to the media was extremely sarcastic,“ Aap Muje Doge Paise Baat karne aaj tak ek paisa nahi aaya aapke pass se. So next time you want to ask such a question pay me first to answer it.” She continued “Reversing the sentence is the easiest thing to do, and since the speaker is largely a woman, it is straightforward to imagine the worst-case scenario. I am fed up of this nonsense.”
