The incident happened as the “Naam Shabana” actress was traveling through Mumbai on her route to a promotional event for her new movie Do Baaraa.
When the 35-year-old actress arrived at the location, she hurried inside without giving the paparazzi time to take pictures of her. The videographer was heard irately lamenting that they had been waiting for her for two hours just to take her picture. However, Taapsee clarified to them that she is simply following the schedule that has been assigned to her.
“Mujhe jo bola gaya main kar rahi hoon, aap mere pe kyu chilla rahe ho? (I am doing whatever I have been asked to do, why are you yelling at me),” Taapsee said before pointing out to a particular paparazzo in the crowd and added, ” Please be considerate when speaking to me; I’m just going about my business. Everywhere I’ve been requested to go, I’ve been on time. You will speak politely to me, and I will speak politely to you.” Also Read | Do Baaraa Movie: Release Date, Trailer, Posters, Cast, Director, Language, Tickets and More
Taapsee later added, “Because the camera is on me, only my right side is visible. If it had been on you for once, you would have realised how you were speaking to me. You are always correct, but actors are always wrong“, after the other cameramen attempted to resolve.
‘Do Baaraa‘ premiered at some of the most prestigious film festivals, including the London Film Festival and the Fantasia Film Festival 2022, and was well received by audiences. Taapsee appeared as a surprise through a TV screen. The audience is stunned and eager to see where Taapsee’s time-traveling story will take them.
