In order to re-brand and present one of India’s oldest sports as a cutting-edge and visually appealing entity, Ultimate Kho Kho 2022 has signed RISE Worldwide, India’s largest independent sports, lifestyle, and entertainment company, as its official broadcast production partner and league consultant.
As part of the three-year contract, RISE will collaborate closely with Ultimate Kho Kho to revamp and improve the game. From the perspective of the TV broadcast, it will assist in the creation of standard operating procedures in terms of presentation, including the look and feel of the game. The goal is to produce a brand that capitalizes on every aspect of the league and advances the sport year after year with unique and thoroughly thought-out improvements. Through this agreement, RISE will be able to develop the brand Ultimate Kho-Kho in the Indian sports scene by utilizing its vast experience in creating and maintaining leagues.
RISE Worldwide wants to provide spectators with a unique visual spectacle for an indigenous sport. Kho Kho is a great fusion of frantic movements and complex strategies; it is fast and huge on strategies. These essential components, as well as a few indoor sports industry firsts, will be packed and covered with a multi-camera setup.
The league’s live action will be available in English, Hindi, and other regional languages on SPNI’s sports channels as well as on its OTT platform SonyLIV thanks to Ultimate Kho Kho’s recent signing of Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) as its official broadcast partner.
The league’s first season, which is set to begin later this year, will write a brand-new, exciting chapter in the history of Indian sports and completely transform Kho-Kho.
