The most lovable and adorable father-son duo Salim Khan and his son Salman Khan shares a very strong bond. They seen many times together in family gatherings and events where Salman take care of his 89 years old father. Salim Khan has three sons Arbaaz, Salman and Sohail but he is strict specially with Salman and schooled and scolded him amongst them.
In one of his interviews, he recalled how he would stop speaking to Salman from time to time, if he made errors.
While speaking about his family, especially his bond with Salman, Salim Khan said, “I have scolded all of them, but Salman has had it the worst from me, particularly since he is the eldest among them.” He noted that he scolded Salman when he quipped that he has many habits like Salim. “One day, he told me that his habits are very similar to mine. I said, ‘Son, it may be a compliment for you, but not for me. Please understand that I don’t wish you to inherit any of my habits,'” Khan said.
The veteran writer also mentioned that there have been times when he didn’t speak to Salman for months. “That has happened, yes. If he does something I don’t like or I feel that he has done something wrong, then I don’t talk to him,” he said.
Salim Khan was also photographed with Salman Khan at the trailer launch of Sikandar. The actor noted that the veteran writer wasn’t supposed to accompany but insisted on attending the event. “The love and respect he has earned are still intact. When I was leaving home to attend the trailer launch, he told me he would join me, too. Every member of our family looked at dad and asked, ‘What happened to you?’ When he came there, he climbed more than 8-10 steps to sit behind. He wanted to see the reaction of the press,” Salman noted at the trailer launch.
