In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Zareen Khan delved into various aspects of her career, addressing comparisons with other actresses and reflecting on her journey in the film industry. She recalled her experience working alongside Salman Khan in her debut film ‘Veer’ and later appearing in ‘Housefull 2’. Khan also candidly discussed the criticism she faced for her role in ‘Hate Story 3’ and shared her reactions to casting couch offers.
Remembering her experience working with Salman Khan in the debut film ‘Veer’, Zareen expressed disbelief at the opportunity to act alongside Salman. She disclosed that her entire family was a fan of Salman, recounting how they would eagerly watch him cycling and riding bikes during their college days, often chasing him like devoted fans. Being cast opposite Salman felt like a dream come true for her. Zareen admitted feeling awkward when Salman caught her looking at him on set multiple times, as she couldn’t believe she was actually there, sitting beside him. The experience was surreal and dream-like for her.
When asked about her journey into films, Zareen attributed it to destiny, describing it as God’s plan. Recalling her childhood, she admitted to respecting actresses and admiring their perfection, besides her lack of knowledge about fashion and makeup.
Talking about her work front she starred in the film “Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele” in 2019. She also made her Telugu debut in the action-thriller film “Chanakya” in 2019.
